- Strattice™ Regenerative Tissue Matrix should always be trimmed and sutured in selected reinforcement location with a “hand in glove” fit - appearance should be smooth and taut.
- For Strattice™ Tissue Matrix suturing, begin attachment at the most difficult area to reach, which is most likely the furthest point from the incision.
- For inframammary fold (IMF) incision, start with the Strattice™ Tissue Matrix-to-pectoralis muscle interface.
- For periarealor incision, start with the IMF-to-Strattice™ Tissue Matrix interface.
Prepare Strattice™ Tissue Matrix for implantation:
- Requires a two-minute soak in room-temperature saline or Ringer’s lactate.
- Keep hydrated prior to implanting; Strattice™ Tissue Matrix can be kept in room-temperature saline up to four hours.
- The use of drains in repairs using Strattice™ Tissue Matrix is recommended by physicians who have done these procedures
