Recovery Partners are the skilled medical specialists who ensure that tissue is recovered according to rigorous technical standards and with the highest respect for donors and their families. These dedicated professionals make it possible for allograft tissues to be provided to patients in critical need—and for donor families to know that their loved one’s gift will be honored and used appropriately.

LifeCell considers our Recovery Partners to be our most valuable resources. To assist them in their lifesaving mission, our highly trained Tissue Services Support Team provides dedicated support and a wide variety of services to our national network of doctors and other tissue recovery specialists. The foundation of our support lies in two essential principles:
Honor the Donation
LifeCell’s commitment to our Recovery Partners is to facilitate their ability to honor the gift of donation. LifeCell believes that each donor family should expect that every attempt will be made to recover all organs and tissues that have been donated. To support this effort, LifeCell provides extensive recovery training as well as supplies and equipment.
Optimize the gift
LifeCell believes that one of the most important commitments we can make to our donor families and Tissue Recovery Partners is to treat these precious gifts in a way that will ultimately provide the most clinical benefit to patients in need. LifeCell’s advanced preservation technology greatly expands the clinical application of allograft tissue. This technology eliminates the historical biological barriers of rejection and chronic inflammation, allowing transplanted grafts to work as scaffolds for tissue regeneration. To date, over one and a half million patients have been treated with LifeCell processed tissues. |
